SV Pacific Princess

Pacific Princess is a Hans Christian 33T (Traditional) designed by Harwood Ives and is the smallest in the family of sturdy double-enders by Hans Christian Yachts. Like all boats from the Hans Christian line of that era, the HC33T is a heavy displacement double-ender, solid and with a proven ocean going seaworthy record.

She oozes charm and beauty with her traditional feel further enhanced by the extensive use of teak inside and out.

The Hans Christian 33T and boasts a springy sheerline, large bowsprit and a cutter rig that’s become a favorite among blue water aficionados. Overhangs are quite moderate making for a long LWL for her size and a good hull speed of 7.1 knots despite her heavy displacement.

Pacific Princess was first launched in the USA in 1986 and imported into Sydney Australia in the early 2000’s where she spend her first few years before being sailed to Melbourne where I purchased her in October 2006. She has proven herself to be a great ocean going vessel which was reinforced by her solid performance in some big seas when my Farther and I sailed her back up the south east coast of Australia to Sydney where she has been based since 2008.

Both the previous owner and I have invested considerable funds to ensure that this Hans Christian has been maintained to a first class condition and is always ready to take on whatever nature can throw at her with no compromise when it comes to safety and comfort.

If you are looking for a proven blue water seaworthy yacht with a reputation second to none and a vessel that can be easy sailed short-handedly whether that be for blue water cruising, day sailing or short escapes, you need look no further.

Sadly as I am relocating overseas, Pacific Princess is For Sale and is on the market from mid 2012. If you are interested in purchasing Pacific Princess, please contact me through the email form provided on this website.

I am looking for a future owner that will take great care of her and will enjoy hours of sailing in a safe, attractive and comfortable blue water yacht - Hans Christian 33T.
